Update: Week of March 4th-March 8th
Its certainly been a while since we have used the blog, but hopefully it will be up and running again smoothly soon. Here are some updates and reminders for the week of March 4th to March 8th.
On Monday, committee meetings will be held from 3-6 pm. We will start with a general drama club meeting at three in Mr. Schoonover's room (Room 502) and then spread apart into committees afterwards. ALL MEMBERS OF THE NCHS DRAMA CLUB ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME, even if you are not a part of the current show.
Rehearsals will run 3-6pm in the auditorium on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday; and a BIG reminder to the cast of East of the Sun, West of the Moon: OFF SCRIPT ACT 1 IS ON TUESDAY, AND OFF SCRIPT ACT 2 IS ON THURSDAY! Make sure you know your lines!
Please note: We have about a month until show date, with about FOURTEEN rehearsals until opening night! Study your lines, and see you at committee meetings tomorrow!

My wife and I hope that everyone had a relaxing holiday and remembered to work on your lines. Rehearsal today will be held from 3 to 4 for Juvie, 4 to 5 for Check please, 5 to 6 for Cheating Death pm in the auditorium. Please remember to be on time to rehearsal. Also anyone that does not have all of their paper work in or that is not dressed appropriately for rehearsal will be sent home from rehearsal today. Fees for FEST are now $30. Anyone wishing to go needs to turn papers in ASAP. Juvie and Check please are scheduled to perform at FEST.

Hey everyone,
The fall show is over and everyone did a great job. Family Ties and Little White Lies was a great show with a great cast. Don't forget that we have a meeting Monday and Tuesday Nov. 19th and 20th from 3 till 5 to discuss the future of the drama club. I hope everyone can attend at put your voice in the mix.

Hurricane Sandy
Hello everyone,
I hope everyone is making out well after the storm yesterday.
Don't Forget because of school being canceled yesterday Oct. 29th and today Oct. 30th, tomorrow there will be rehersal starting at 3:00 pm and we will not end until 9:00pm the same goes for thursday. WE NEED EVERYONES HELP! Once we run through the show twice we will be working on sets so bring your paint clothes. There is still painting to do. Thank you and have a good afternoon.

Off Script Act 1
I just hope everyone took time today to learn their lines for act 1. I know it was a late night for those also in the Reader's Theatre production. Get lots of rest and practice those lines tomorrow whenever you can. I know all will go well tomorrow if everyone comes with a positive attitude and are willing to focus on the show.

Home coming week has brought about a few schedule changes that are important to bring to everybody's attention.
First, Friday's regularly scheduled rehearsal will be canceled due to the 4:00 pm line-up time for all band members. Since that involves 11 out of the 20 responsible for the show it makes it hard to rehearse. Plus I know the other 9 of you would probably like to go watch the parade or might be involved with your class floats.
Instead on Friday we are going to offer an Hour of Improve from 3 to 4 pm. This will be open to any drama club members, any band members, and anyone from the general school population that wants to learn about improve or theater. I would like to give everyone a place to learn a little about improve and have some fun after the pep rally! So come out and have a good time for an hour before the parade and play some games with your peers!
Another schedule change due to home coming is that we will be canceling the set building on Saturday. We would like to allow everyone to have plenty of time to plan and prepare for the dance. Plus the Reader's Theater has dress rehearsal on Monday and we would like to leave the set for that show as untouched as possible. So enjoy the day off to prepare for the dance that night and have a safe time at the dance.
